Down by the Sea
On some cruise ships, the ocean can feel surprisingly distant when it is only seen from the deck. Seabourn’s Marina Days, however, have changed all that. On certain days during a Caribbean or Mediterranean cruise, the ship will drop anchor and the aft of the ship opens for guests to swim in a protected “pool” formed by a net dropped into the ocean. Or perhaps you’d rather take out a paddle boat and take in the scenery of Marina Day ports of call like Milos in Greece. There are also opportunities to kayak, water ski, snorkel and sail. The ocean has never been closer, thanks to another one of the signature experiences that sets Seabourn apart from other cruise lines.
