For sweeping city and sea views, take the colorful gondola to the top of Pico Isabel de Torres. It climbs more than 800 meters (2,600 feet) above sea level, giving awesome photo ops along the way. At the peak, the flat-topped, wildly verdant mountain is also home to a comprehensive botanic garden, a towering Christ the Redeemer–style statue and loads of hawkers. Note: While walking up and/or down is also an option, it’s a strenuous trek that’s not recommended without a legitimate guide.
