Biking the Sian Ka'an Biosphere
Grab a bike from Casa De Las Olas and start pedaling south… 10 minutes in you’ll hit a kayak/boat operator, and by boat is really the best way to see the Reserve. According to our friends at Cas De Las Olas, there are several great guides depending on what you’re interest. For kayaking, they love guides Lieke or Antonio, and for motor boating, go with the local omitologist Fernando. There are three different boat trips to choose from: floating down ancient Mayan channels, watching the migratory birds fly in for sunset at Bird Island, or a combination of both.
