Dynjandi Westfjords Iceland
Although referred to as one waterfall, Dynjandi—known also as Fjallfoss—is actually comprised of seven different falls that flow together from a cumulative height of 100 meters. Thirty meters wide at the top, the waterfall cascade spreads to around 60 meters at the bottom, prompting comparisons to a bridal veil. A small path leads to the top of the falls, and once you get close you’ll understand the name Dynjandi, which means “the thundering one.”
