Dupont State Forest
Triple Falls at Dupont State Forest
The steep 10-minute hike is well worth the view. Halfway up the trail, which begins across a wooden bridge in the Hooker Falls parking area of Dupont State Forest, hikers catch a tantalizing glimpse of all three waterfalls spurring weary legs onward. After reaching the trail's summit and navigating down a set of stairs, visitors are treated to an expansive rocky clearing with an up-close view of the waterfalls--two from above and one below. The best time to visit is early mornings on the weekday to avoid tour groups and enjoy the area virtually all to yourself.
