Dry Comal Creek Vineyards
Raise Your Glass at Dry Comal Creek
On 103 acres outside of New Braunfels, nestled in the Texas Hill Country, sits Dry Comal Creek Vineyards and Winery. Specializing in Black Spanish wines, a varietal that is special to this area and with grapes that are resilient in this particular Texas terroir, Bonnie and Franklin Houser, the founders of Dry Comal Creek, are known as the pioneers in Texas of Black Spanish wine. Something that makes Dry Comal Creek unique is its Winery U: a non-pretentious classroom, where locals and tourists alike can sample and learn about wines from Texas and around the world, as well as the process of winemaking and food and wine pairings. They also offer a community Grape Stomp and believe that the spirit of the Texas wine country is best shared amongst friends.
