Drogheria M Torielli
Spices from antiquity
With spices from around the world beautifully displayed in glass cases built into the medieval walls of the shop, Drogheria M Torielli continues on an age-tradition of selling the spices that frequented the Roman port of Genova. Saffron, sugar, pink peppercorn, and other 'exotic' ingredients made their way to Genova during the 13th and 14th centuries from ports of call in the far and middle east, and can still be found on these antique shelves today.
