Drake Devonshire: An Artsy Getaway

A handful of years ago, Prince Edward County hopped onto the radar of the savviest Torontonians. The region, two-and-a-half hours away from Toronto, became a marker for foodies seeking out quality produce and more. It only makes sense that the Drake Hotel would set foot in the region. The original Drake remains the lynchpin of cool on Toronto‘s west end, boasting an array of events and places to eat and drink in addition to its rooms. Open since fall 2014, the Dev lakeside outpost aims to bring a similar flavor to the countryside in a revamped 19th century building. Its aesthetic is just as playful, with neat design tricks (glassed-in corner fireplaces), cool art, stunning views, a sex toy menu, and a ping pong room (for other kinds of fun).
