Darwin's House
Darwin's House
Its funny that we visited Darwin's home the week where there were riots in London. Darwin moved his family here in 1842 after the plug plots riots in London .His house has been turned into a museum and it is worth taking a tour with the guide who this time conducted by the assistant head garderner,Jenny.I had an idea of a 1hour tour but ended spending the whole afternoon in his house and the surrounding areas.Just to get there by car is an event, The Kentish counrtyside is charming. After the trip to his house,I had a better impression of this great man.He was firstly a humanist.I would suggest take the tour first, then have sandwich and then visit the house with an audioguide.
