Taste Your Way Through Đông Xuân Market
This is a real market where locals come to get groceries and to eat, so expect a bit of chaos and possibly a few stares. It’s one of the more fun places in Hanoi to simply get lost in. If you’re too fearful to push your way through a crowd of people for a seat at one of the many low tables serving amazing food, at least try a freshly fried batch of Banh Ran. These chewy doughnut-like morsels made of rice flour and filled with a sweet coconut and mung bean filling are cheap and incredibly delicious and addictive.
