Detroit's Majestic Theatre
Originally built in the early 1900s, the Detroit Opera House was once one of the largest theaters in the world. While it no longer holds that distinction, the historic venue remains one of the most beautiful places in the city. The building's latest reincarnation was completed in the 1990s, and to much acclaim. Since then, the theater has boasted a full calendar featuring music, comedy, dance productions, screenings of classic films, and, of course, opera!
