There is not much more an airline passenger can ask for other than comfort, options and outstanding service. Luckily there is nothing more you HAVE to ask for in Delta Air Lines’ long-haul Business Class. From boarding to arrival, Business Class travelers rarely (if ever) have to fully extend an arm to get the attention of a flight attendant, since every need is already being tended to (before even realizing it’s a need.)
On top of being treated like royalty, Delta Business Class passengers are fed as if they are, as well. Upon settling in, after being personally greeted by name and offered a glass of champagne with a smile, guests feel as though they are taking off with a staff full of friends. Moments after leveling off in the stratosphere, passengers receive their first course - chef-curated smoked duck with grilled apple butter and spiced pecans, in this case. Next is an option for a Starter - either sweet potato and roasted pear soup or roasted mushroom and chicory salad. At this point it is clear that this experience has just begun.
Soon it’s time for the main course - passengers can choose from root beer braised beef, baby back pork ribs, smoked chicken, or root vegetable skewers with rosemary maple vinaigrette. This theme of indulgence continues with another two courses.
Passengers are able to opt out of the full dining menu, which would expedite the eating process, leaving more time to lounge and catch some Z’s in the fully-reclining Business Class pod of a seat.
