The Review:
Staying on Jordan's Dead Sea coast means staying in a resort. The best offer the cozy comforts of a small hotel while offering plenty of space to roam and explore. This offering form Marriott hits just the right mix. The enormous landscaped grounds descend in a series of terraces to the waterline, with lots of green shady corners to keep off the haze when you're done with lounging by the pool or bobbing in the super-salty sea. The internal decor cleaves to just the right side of the traditional international chain style, with just enough design touches such as dark wooden lattice screen windows to remind you that you're in Jordan. Rooms are spacious and come with balconies to enjoy the views; as expected there are several restaurants and poolside bars. In a nod to environmental consciousness, all hot water on site is heated by solar power.
