Midnight CurrywurstOur guide decided we couldn't be in Berlin more than a night without sampling the currywurst. This little fast-food joint in the train station might not be the finest of dining, but at 11:30PM it hit the spot.
Though they were in the process of closing, they stayed open to accommodate our group. The ladies working the counter were hilarious and super nice, and the place serves beer so every one had themselves a good little time (including the employees).
Though I'd never had currywurst before, it reminded me of my family's tradition of eating sausage and ketchup. The taste was similarly sweet, tangy, salty and with a little bit of spice.
