Creativity in Culver City
Culver City’s industrial façade is a hard shell to a neighborhood that beats with a creative pulse. It is has been a hub for film and television production since the 1920s and is currently home to Sony Pictures (originally MGM Studios), NPR and the NFL Network. Take a studio tour to discover the lots and soundstages where classics like The Wizard of Oz were filmed, game shows like Jeopardy are currently filmed and props from cultural crazes like Men In Black and Breaking Bad are housed. In recent years there has been a renaissance of restaurants throughout downtown and over 35 galleries line the intersection of La Cienega and Washington Boulevards waiting to be discovered.
