Crocketts Public House
You’ll find hamburgers and chips on millions of menus nationwide, but Crockets proves just how good basic grub can be when it’s made in small batches, using fresh ingredients. The kitchen grinds whole cuts of aged beef to make its burgers (the locals’ favorite is topped with roasted poblanos, chipotle aioli, and pepper jack cheese). Fries are hand-cut, the guacamole is made to order (so are the chips), and the milkshakes swirl together Olympic Mountain ice cream, Ghirardelli caramel—and bourbon. It’s no wonder this place is typically packed.
