White Linen Night, Dirty Linen Night, Red Dress Run
White Linen Night—a celebration of the thriving art scene—brings together locals and visitors dressed in white linen to stroll through the Warehouse Arts District meeting artists and friends and sipping cool refreshments (August 5, 2017). The following weekend, thousands of party animals charge the streets of the French Quarter wearing second-hand red dresses during the Red Dress Run—a two-mile race and all-day party with live music, lunch, and free beer for participating runners that supports local charities. (August 12, 2017). Dirty Linen Night, the French Quarter’s own version of White Linen Night, rounds out the festivities, encouraging participants to wear last week’s linens while enjoying art, music, and drinks (August 13, 2017).
