An amazing little hole in the wall in the district of El Born, a delightful corner of Barcelona, with all the beauty and charm of the Gothic Quarter but far enough from the beaten path making it a little quieter. Right on the Passeig del Born, Creps al Born is a small, but buzzing bar/resto that is packed to the brim at night with a young crowd enjoying drinks and great food in a fun atmosphere. The bartenders are fun and make everyone who walks through the door feel welcome. You don’t get a run-of-the-mill drink at Creps, each drink is beautifully made and with their own spin on it. If they didn’t already blow you away with a cocktail, they will win you over with the food. They have the biggest selection of crepes I have ever seen and when my goat cheese, emmental, spinach, tomato and egg crepe was put down in front of me, it was beautiful enough to be considered art. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted even better. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for this little gem. Look them up on Facebook for some fun photos to get a sense of what they are all about.
