Day two of Pamela’s “Authentic by Nature” itinerary starts with a cruise on the Gordon River, one of the highlights of western Tasmania. You’ll travel from deep within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area to Macquarie Harbour and the Southern Ocean. On day three, you’ll explore another part of the Tasmanian Wilderness area—Cradle Mountain, which reaches a height of 5,069 feet. Icy streams lead to pristine alpine lakes, many formed by glaciers like Dove Lake (seen here). With its ancient rainforests and heathlands, Cradle Mountain is one of Tasmania’s must-see and must-explore sights.
