Coronado Historic Site

Finding the best of Albuquerque
We'd tried the tram up the Sandia mountain - $25pp. Not bad....but we were looking for something else to do.
We stopped by the Coronado Historical site in Bernalillo - where the Kuoua tribe/pueblo thrived (until he came through). It was beautiful with the Rio Grande, Cottonwood trees and mountain backdrop...I imagine it was doubly beautiful back then. We'd apparently just missed an amazing Fall color change and major air balloon festival in early November - bet that's a sight to see....

Also, the fry bread at the Pueblo Harvest Cafe - yumm...
