Corner Brook Museum and Archives
The Corner Brook Museum and Archives is housed in one of the oldest buildings in the city. It was built in 1925 to accommodate the post office and the telegraph and customs offices, as well as the town’s courtroom. The museum covers the history of Corner Brook and the Bay of Islands, including exhibits about the pulp and paper business and the fishery. You’ll also find an archaeological exhibit about the aboriginal peoples of this part of Canada.
