Hands-on Morrocan Cooking Course Event, AarauThis years annual event at work was organised under the motto: "Let's cook together". And the recipes we were supposed to learn to cook, were Moroccan, here in Aarau, Switzerland.
After a greeting with mint tea, we were instructed and went through the recipes, the ingredients and the kitchen utensils. The spirits were high, excited and anxious. We were divided into groups of 2 -3 people and then the cooking and fun started. Everyone participated wholeheartedly (and those who thought cooking for fun is not their cup of tea, didn't come at all).
Supported personally by the rotating cooks and teachers of the cooking school and atelier, a delicious menu of several dishes came together accompanied by pita bread, delicious hummus and spinach and cheese triangles. Most of the participants never had tasted Moroccan food and were very excited at the result.
The desert consisted of lime sorbet, fruit salad and self made Baklava! Impressive, no?

It was a fun annual event of our team, however the price is rather at the high end! For the coming end-of-the-year season and celebrations, it may a still be worth looking into their program at www.cookuk.ch
