A Taste of the World
Located off the 14th Street Corridor, owners Rose Previte and her husband, NPR Morning Editon co-host David Greene, transformed a converted rowhouse into a funky yet homey dining space and bar serving an eclectic menu of international street food courtesy of chef JohnPaul Damato. Watch out for Moroccan steamed mussels, Salvadoran pupusas, Lebanese kefta, Turkish balik ekmek, and the signature dish: Georgian khachapuri (aka: "butter pizza"), a flatbread topped with cheese, cracked egg, and butter. In addition, don't miss any of the intriguingly named drinks like the Georgian "black wine" and "Not Worth the Sin in Rome."
