Columbus Main Library: A Fountain of Learning
The Columbus Metropolitan Main Library has served the community for over 100 years with the motto, “A fountain of learning: Our treasures are within and open to all.” Today it’s a great place to visit either to read, explore, or participate in a workshop. The building was first dedicated in 1907, and in the 1980s there was an addition to the back of the building. For anyone interested in architecture, the space is fascinating; I love these marble stairs, a main feature of the original building.
