Coal Harbour: Yachts And Million Dollar Condos Side By Side
Coal Harbour is bordered by Burrard Street, West Georgia, and Pender (where Pender and Georgia pinch together toward Stanley Park). Much of Coal Harbour consists of seawall pathways and the only hustle and bustle you’ll find here is from cyclists, runners, and floatplanes taking off. Boats bob in the marina while harbor seals poke their heads up to greet passersby.
Even during the gray and wet months in Vancouver, nature and weather collude to produce some fantastic scenery. Case in point is the show put on by a setting sun with just enough room for a shot of light between the clouds and Cypress Mountain. The picture was taken looking west toward the Burrard Inlet.

Houseboats at Coal Harbour
I used to take a walk at lunch every day in Vancouver past these tiny floating homes at the Coal Harbour Marina. I always wanted to see the inside of one!
