Feel like a Queen, or Prince or Duke at Cliveden House
Are you feeling veedy-veddy British? Do you yearn for more Downton Abbey? Long for another glimpse into the daily lives of the aristocracy? Well why not live the dream with a stay at  Cliveden House ?

Princes, Dukes and the famous Astor family have all called  Cliveden House in Taplow, Berkshire, home. With a long and refined history of prominent social standing, you can’t go much better than this iconic 17th century stately house. You can live quite comfortably in one of the 48 rooms among priceless antiques and exquisite furnishings. Or select from nine opulent suites or the luxurious Spring Cottage on the River Thames.

Right now there is a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork on display for the Royal Ascot. The work of art entitled ‘A World Like Nowhere Else’ tells the story of Royal Ascot in the fabulous and appropriate setting of Cliveden House, which has strong links to the racing world through its former owner, Waldorf Astor. Even more appealing to Anglophiles in my opinion, Cliveden is also putting on a beautiful exhibition of millinery from award-winning British designer Vivien Sheriff. And you can try on some of these fabulous creations that will be seen worn at Ascot this season. Vivien has a suitably impressive roster of high-end clients, including prominent members of the British Royal Family. And for the gentleman? Fashion for him from Gieves & Hawkes will also be on display in the Great Hall.

Well darling, I'll see you there for a proper sherry in the drawing room perhaps?
