Owner Christina McDowell opened shop following years working at Canada’s esteemed retailer, Holt Renfrew; she brings her design savoir faire to a space that boasts luxury resale items alongside new items. Gucci and Prada sit side by side with the likes of Rick Owens and Isabel Marant. You’d never guess the pieces had previous owners, as all of them are in pristine condition (McDowell insists items be ‘like new’ or she won’t carry them). While the pieces come from seasons both recent and distant, timelessness is the common thread that links them. (Don’t come here looking for wild ’80s shoulder pads; do come here for a slinky jersey dress that will see you through endless parties over the years.) Non resale picks include local label Beaufille, the culty label created by two T.O. sisters, and jewellery. For visitors keen on shopping but looking to explore the boarders beyond Yorkville and Queen West, this is a neat shop that can be a starting point for a meander south back downtown.
