Going Back in Time
I visited Claude Moore Colonial Farm several times as a child and was always surprised by how dedicated the "characters" are to their role. The farm depicts life in 1771, and it really feels like you are stepping back in time. Everything, from the clothes and tools to the crops and buildings, looks exactly as it did hundreds of years ago. The workers, who are dressed in traditional garb, don't break character, and because of this, I got a much better sense of the struggles our ancestors faced during the 18th century.
