Tale of two bonitosWe ate well during a visit to Paris in May, 2013. This bonito entree (appetizer) at the pop-up restaurant Clandestino in the 12th arrondissement, was outstanding. The fish was fresh and barely seared on the outside, the sauce and the Japanese greens, which I had never had before, uniquely flavorful.
I ordered the same dish a couple of nights later at Le 6 Paul Bert, a newcomer on the famed dining street where our apartment was located. It also was excellent, although with milder flavors.
