Movies by Moonlight
Watching a movie by moonlight with a cold beer is one of the joys of Greek summer. For smokers, it’s an even greater pleasure—viewers are free to light up at the outdoor cinemas planted on rooftops, beachfront plots, and breezy parks all over the Greek Isles. From blockbusters to black and white classics, the lineup is usually as varied as the bar snacks: Yellow Donkey craft beer at Kamari on Santorini, loukoumades (mini doughnuts drenched in honey) at Cine Rex on Samos, souvlaki and prosecco at Manto on Mykonos, where a pelican wanders among the giant cacti. But Cine Enastron, set in an 80-acre park on the Ai Yiannis peninsula of Paros, has an added attraction: It's free.
