Churro Street Cart

Keep Calm And Eat Churros
We were lost one evening in Merida while driving to our hotel, and ended up in a quiet residential neighbourhood. There was a street cart parked at a junction and many residents came out of their houses to buy bags of churros, so of course we followed suit.

The churros from this cart totally hit the spot. They were freshly fried, served piping hot and just had the right amount of sprinkled sugar. No chocolate or café con leche needed, they were simple delicious on their own.

I did not see any other churro cart during my trip much to my dismay, so grab your churro fix once you see one.
