Chori
Choripan, a sausage sandwich that is a requisite appetizer at any decent Sunday asado, has been elevated to the status of main course at Chori, the new addition to the Palermo food scene that’s determined to give charcuterie its due. A block from Plaza Serrano, the casual dining room emits an energetic vibe amid the smiling, cartoon-y tube-steaks that adorn its yellow walls. They’re doing their damnedest to class things up, with sophisticated spins on the traditional. Surprising iterations include blood-sausage with apple and fennel or red chorizo with ginger and orange. All selections are reckoned delicious.
