Among the most sought-after addresses in Èze, if not in the entire French Riviera, Château Eza is a 400-year-old castle hotel with 14 regal rooms and suites. From the moment guests enter this charming luxury inn, they're sure to be enchanted by its gorgeous interiors and fantastic views out over the community of Èze and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Rooms are no less stunning, dominated by beautifully preserved exposed stone walls and integrated fireplaces, lovely oil paintings, and antique-style furnishings subtly contrasting with sleeker, more modern fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms, including hydromassage showers and Jacuzzi bathtubs. The château's Michelin-starred restaurant is nothing to scoff at, either. While its breezy sea-facing terrace and indoor section with floor-to-ceiling windows and uninterrupted sea views are reason alone to visit, the cuisine is nothing short of superb; don't miss the degustation menu, featuring tiny tastes of seasonally specific dishes made from the highest quality French ingredients.

Beyond Beautiful Medieval Castle
Driving from Spain to Italy I needed a stop-over for a night and chose Chateau Eza in Eza in the south of France. It turned out to be the high light of my trip this medieval castle turned into chateaus and quaint shops. The views of the Côte d'Azur from the cactus garden, the 5 star food, the small pizza places, the perfumeries and the one-of-a-kind shopping made me want to stay for week! On the way out of town, I pretended to be a fashionista walking along the main street running along the coast in Monte Carlo and ate fresh octopus salad and drove along the same route as the Grand Prix.
