Such a treat to find this gorgeous shop in Terminal 2F Delicious and beautiful!

Waiting for your flight just got a lot more colorful and sweet at the new Laduree shop at terminal 2F (Great wifi too!)

I had slept not a wink on the every-seat-taken overnight flight from New York. Worse yet, I hadn’t even had the time to brush my teeth in the airplane’s bathroom before disembarking. Yuck. So I was grumpy. Very grumpy. Grumpy enough even to suppress my excitement about arriving in Paris! But this is what greeted me in les toilettes pour femmes once I got through customs. Fields of lavender, red-tiled roofed farmhouses and cloudless blue skies set against a sparkly clean tile floor. And the facilities behind the doors were just as spotless. My grumpiness was gone. I couldn’t stop smiling. Such a wonderful welcome to La France. And a gentle reminder that one can--and does--find beauty in the least expected places. Ain’t travel grand?
