Become a Boonie Stomper
"Boonie stomper" is the name of a Guamanian who enjoys hiking the island's wild trails. Visitors can participate in some backwoods tramping thanks to the Guam Boonie Stompers, a nonprofit that welcomes people to join hikers on weekly walks. Depending on the route, you might also visit a historic site, beach, cave, or waterfall. Travelers who want to become boonie stompers should meet at Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatna on Saturdays at 9 a.m.
