Chamiers Cafe

This English-style boutique cafe, sits just above the renowned Indian clothing company, Anokhi and Chennai's own Amethyst Room. On cozy banquette sofas, and painted rattan chairs, amidst a huge collection of vintage Indian photography and enameled tiffin boxes, you can grab one of the best cappuccinos in town, a cup of spicy masala tea, a fresh juice and a western bite. After an "American Breakfast" complete with pancakes and bacon (served all day) hop into one of three of the best souvenir shops in the city before you step back out onto the busy streets of Chennai.
