Perfect Greek beach day
Looking for water that’s at least three shades of blue? Only 50 minutes by fast boat and 1 hour 40 minutes by traditional ferry, and you’ll reach Agistri island. Hang a left in Skala, and follow the brick path all the way to the end (where it diverges, keep to the right). At the end of the path, you’ll find a dirt trail through the pine forest — an area popular with the camping set. Follow the trail until you reach the very end ... you’ll see the deep blue sea below, as well as a stunning stone-covered beach. The scramble down (about five minutes) is not for the faint of heart, and best done in sturdy shoes or barefoot. At the bottom, pick your spot and prepare to bliss out for one of the most enjoyable beach days you can ever have. Make sure to bring water, snacks and suntan lotion, as there are no stores anywhere. Also, feel free to get naked as nude swimming is the norm here.
