A Farm to Taco Shop
What began as a taco stand sensation at the Dupont Circle and White House farmer's markets, best friends Suzanne Simon and Bettina Stern opened up their first storefront location (a former 1944 woodworking shop) in Georgetown. The 28-seat counter service space features a simple locally sourced menu, but substitutes veggies and vegan for meat, and homemade corn tortillas rather than flour. Make sure to order the mushroom, feta, and red salsa taco or the creamy kale-and-potato taco with pickled onions, salsa verde, and poblano cream.
