Less touristy than Cabo and still a hidden gem, Cerritos Beach between Cabo and Todos Santos has great waves for surfing as well as safe surf for swimming (one of the few beaches in the area where the rip tide is less treacherous and it's safe to swim). The laidback low-key vibe here draws surfers from all over the world. The beach has its own restaurant, the Cerritos Beach Club, where you can wash off sand at its beach shower as well as rent umbrellas and chairs, and, of course, order a mojito or margarita. Nearby Todos Santos has been named a Mexican "Pueblo Mágico" with its charming atmosphere and many resident artists, some of whom can be found on the beach selling their works. The spring break crowd has yet to find their way from Cabo, so now's the time to jump in and experience the beach before it’s “discovered.”
