Centro Cultural Kirchner
A whale of a time
South America is filled with Cultural Centers where locals, tourists and expats alike go to see exhibits, concerts, and even take classes. Centro Cultural Kirschner, named after an old Argentine dictator, is the largest of such centers and is worth visiting for the architecture alone. The building occupies a formal post office which opened in 2015 after 8 years of planning and $2.4 mil millones pesos. The main concert hall La Bellena Azul, Spanish for blue whale, seats nearly 2,000 people.
