Centre Eaton de Montréal
With Montréal's infamously cold winters, shopping centers have some obvious appeals. The Centre Eaton de Montréal is one of the most popular, with 175 businesses including a food court as well as more upscale restaurants. The center is connected to Montréal's underground city, the 20-mile-long network of tunnels beneath the streets and running through the basement levels of hotels, stores, and government buildings. The underground city also connects to the city's subway, so there's no reason to let some bad weather deter you from shopping. The Centre Eaton is currently being renovated and merged with its neighbor, the Complexe Les Ailes. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2020; all the businesses will remain open during the project, though some may be temporarily relocated.
