Central Post Office

Central Post Office

This grand edifice is a glorious example of the French-colonial architecture that dots the city’s landscape. Built between 1886 and 1891, it'll give you the feeling that you’ve been transported back to the Indochinese Empire—even though it’s still very much a functioning post office. Check out the hand-painted and historic maps, the magnificent tiled floor and the old telephone booths. Definitely worth a visit, even if you don’t have postcards to send.
