Check Out This Library
More than just a place for books (but don't discount the incredible collection), Indianapolis's Central Library is also a community center, art gallery, and architectural marvel. The buildings manage to perfectly blend the grand, original 1917 marble-and-limestone design with the 2007 expansion that introduced a soaring glass atrium. Even if you're just visiting, you can check out events like yoga in the garden, historically themed tea parties, and the Hometown Roots Concert Series.
