Cavern Club
John, Paul, Ringo and George famously cut their musical teeth at the Cavern Club. In the 1960s, it was one of the country’s most famous music venues, and it remains a popular subterranean hangout for people in the market for Beatles memorabilia and tribute bands. Beyond its doors, the pedestrian-friendly Mathew Street has a number of other bars and pubs, such as The Grapes, that play heavily on their connections with the band.
