French Fare in the Suburbs
Nestled in a residential area of Edina, Cave Vin is a cozy yet elegant restaurant with a decidedly French flair. Francophiles, foodies, and the just-plain-hungry can rejoice. You'll find all the classics on the menu: pâté, escargot, lamb, steak-frites, and more (items change a bit from week to week, but you'll find current menus on the website). The dessert menu features a variety of American favorites like peach crisp and turtle sundae, but French classics like pot de crème and crème brûlée are also available. The interior provides a lovely backdrop for a romantic dinner, though the space can also accommodate groups. Mondays and Tuesdays are great times to stop by: The wine selection is half price.
