Our Lady's Cathedral of Antwerp is the largest church in the Low Countries and outside is a fitting monument to the architects that created it, Jan and Pieter Appelmans. Make sure to take a closer look at the bronze characters hard at work, you may be surprised by one that is actually living.

A Cathedral in the Mix
What's not to like about Antwerp? Top-notch shopping, Rubens, The Chocolate Line, a train station that is a work of art in its own right, an impressive cathedral....and my personal favorite....an amazing array of architecture. This photo was taken from our outdoor table at an Italian restaurant named Verona that is right at the base of the cathedral
