The Best View in Granada
Central Park, in Granada, marks the center of the old colonial town. After wandering through the vendors in the park, we asked someone at the Catedral de Granada if we could go upstairs to the bell tower to view the park and town from on high. A very friendly woman found someone who could grant us access to a back stairwell. We climbed a couple sets of very narrow, stone stairs (my girlfriend struggled a bit wit the height/claustrophobia), until we reached the bell tower, which we had to ourselves for not only a brief and cool reprieve from the sun, but also a beautiful and colorful view of the park.
