Koreatown has no shortage of Korean BBQ; in fact, a daunting excess. There are places that specialize in pork belly, places with cuts of meat only a connoisseur would care to afford, delectable seafood, and ones known to include a tableside sea of banchan. Castle BBQ is known for one thing, really: it's where everybody goes. While there might be better BBQ out there, even better BBQ for $10, you won't find the same throng of Koreatown and Hollywood revelers. If you'd rather a boisterous cross section of Koreatown life, rather than a solemn, peaceful sit down dinner, tucking yourself into a table somewhere in a dark corner, look no further. Tasty bulgogi, cheap prices, and unlimited helpings is a common denominator among the people, and amidst the cacophony of shouts and fumes, there are people at Castle BBQ.
