Experience Moroccan nature
The best of Moroccan nature is a day-trip away from Marrakesh in the shape of the Cascade d’Ouzoud, the country’s highest waterfall, which tumbles 110m into a lush canyon. The hikes around the falls are the perfect green reminder of Morocco outside the city, and at their most dramatic between March and June. Equally accessible are the High Atlas mountains, and the pretty Berber village of Imlil. Wend your way through orchards to the delightful Kashbah du Toubkal for lunch with a view, or stop en route at the palatial Kasbah Tamadot, owned by Richard Branson.
