Cape Range National Park
Roughly three times the size of Washington, D.C., the Cape Range National Park sits on the Ningaloo Coast and has 300-meter-high (980-foot) ridges and hundreds of caves within its rugged limestone terrain. Tour boats cruise below the colorful cliffs of the freshwater Yardie Creek Gorge. Swap your flip-flops for hiking shoes and follow gravel trails through the bottom of Shothole Canyon and down into Charles Knife Canyon, where wallabies and red kangaroos live. Temperatures can soar here and sources of water are few, so take a water bottle before you set off on your trek.
